Tracking down the most elusive gloves in history: CREATURE
Resurrecting some of these old Freezy Freakies designs can be downright challenging. The original art for these gloves was created 40+ years ago, so even if computer files existed for them (they don't), we couldn't really do anything with them anyway. We need actual physical samples, or at least hi-res photos of the art, in order to re-create designs.
Which brings us to our most challenging endeavor yet: hunting down the elusive CREATURE Freezy Freakies.
The first request we got for these gloves was all the way back in 2015. If you follow us, you might recall back in 2018 when we first started putting out appeals on social media, taking witness statements, distributing Wanted posters, and even enlisting our in-house sketch artist....
And guess what? It finally worked!
Earlier this year, a man named Alex Thaler came through with an outstanding photo album circa 1982 that gave us all the picture evidence we needed to get these gloves reproduced. He's now the rightful owner of pair #1!
